Как вы знаете, наших соотечественников изобразили в роли таракана в одном из журналов или газет Ирана. Мол азербайджанцы не достойны того чтоб проживать на территории Ирана. Dear News Editors,
I write to complain about the following. It has been almost a week that ethnic Azerbaijanis of Iran, people of Turkic origin protest in hundreds of thousands in the streets of Tabriz, Sulduz, Urmiyeh (all North of Iran) demanding an end to racial discrimination by ruling theocratic autocracy, chauvinism against Azerbaijanis, and restoration of their rights to study in native language (Turkish), to have uncensored and independent native language media and press in Iran.
Instead of meeting these humanistic demands, the Iranian regime is using force, police brutality against the demonstrators. So far at least 20 people have been reported to be killed by the army and Special Forces of dictator regime there. There are approximately 25 Million Azerbaijanis in Iran (some 40% of total population of Iran).
However, the international media companies, including yours seem to show silence and ignorance of these events there. This is indeed disturbing and raises serous questions about your impartiality and professionalism.
I hope that your news programs will fix this problem in the nearest future and will serve the rights of the millions of people around the world to get free, fair and fresh information.
Beynelxalq Teshkilarlar nece? Onlar da bu gun Iranda xalqimizin bashina getirilen musibetlerden hech ne demirler? Onda ashagidaki mektubdan ve ondan altda gelen e-unvanlardan istifade edib oz etirazinizi bildire bilersiniz.

Petition: Support Azerbaijanis of Iran
TO: International community
It has been almost a week that ethnic Azerbaijanis in Iran, people of Turkic origin protest for their civil rights in the cities of Eastern and Western Azerbaijan provinces of Iran, in the capital Tehran. Instead of tolerance, they face police and Special Forces? brutalities by theocratic autocracy of Iran. Until today some 8 civilians have been reported killed by these forces according to GunAz TV (www.gunaz.tv) aired online from Chicago, USA, the only disperser of the information blockade, where people from Iran call and report on hourly basis what happens there.
According to unofficial information the number of deaths has reached 20 and even 100's, Iranian army and Special Forces are advancing to Tabriz, Sulduz, Urmiye and other cities of Iranian Azerbaijan to use force against peaceful demonstrators. Please raise your voice today, tomorrow it may be late.
Some 50 years passed since civic rights movement in the United States led by Martin Luther King and Rose Parker, however the world has not been a better place for Iranian Azerbaijanis. Today some hundreds thousands of Azerbaijanis of Iran are in the streets demanding the similar rights ? end to racism and allow education in native language that is envisaged by the Articles 15* and 19** of the Iranian Constitution.
Out of 50 million worldwide, Azerbaijanis compose some 25 million people, almost half of the population in Iran demand that they are not called ?cockroach? and ?jack ass? ? expressions of racism and hatred to our nation by theocratic autocracy and their press. They demand to allow them open schools in the native language, enhance uncensored newspapers in their native language.
Azerbaijanis in Iran have been object of oppression and assimilation for several decades now. Not only they have been denied of their basic civil and human rights, but also have been object to insults, denial of culture and history. The latest racist act by the State?s official press exceeded all limits.
Azerbaijanis throughout the world demand international organizations and respected authorities such as yours to interfere and stop the bloodshed, put pressure on Iranian authorities to respect rights of the major ethnicities, including those of Azerbaijanis in Iran, end racism and allow education in native language.
Sincerely,
Ad, Soyad. Yashadiginiz yer
